Spring is officially in bloom, and there’s no better sign than the return of our favorite local plant sales! It’s the perfect time to plan your garden, discover unique plants, and score great deals—all while supporting local farms, garden clubs, and historical societies. From annuals and perennials to vegetables and native plants, these community-driven events are sprouting up everywhere, with some kicking off as early as this weekend. Don’t miss the chance to dig into gardening season while giving back to your community!

Tips for a Successful Plant Sale Visit:

  • Arrive Early: The best selections often go quickly.
  • Bring Cash: Some sales may not accept cards.
  • Bring Bags or Boxes: Handy for carrying your new plants.
  • Ask Questions: Volunteers and staff are usually eager to share gardening tips.

Our annual plant sale will feature native plants, sun and shade perennials, veggies, herbs and dahlias. Great prices! Cash, check or credit. See wngc.org



The Haverhill Garden Club will be hosting their annual plant sale on Saturday, May 17th on the Bradford Common from 8 a.m. to sell out. **Please follow parking guidelines as indicated by signage and Haverhill police.

**Annuals, perennials, herbs, and vegetable plants for sale
**Get your garden tools sharpened for a nominal fee
**Enter raffle to win a wheelbarrow full of gardening supplies
**Ask-a-Gardener: A master gardener will be on-hand to answer questions. If you have a plant problem or garden design issue, please bring photos.

Proceeds from the plant sale fund civic garden projects around the city, educational guest speakers (lectures are open to the public), and three higher education scholarships for students pursuing degrees in the agricultural sciences.

The club also invites members of the public to donate any extra plants from their yards and gardens for the plant sale. To request digging assistance or to arrange a pick up of your donated plants, contact us at HaverhillGardenClub@gmail.com.

Saturday, May 16, 2025 from 8:30am to Noon

The Grant Family Farm

Stop on by the farm and pick up veggie starts for your home garden. We have a great variety of tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, beans, cucurbits, herbs, dahlia tubers, pollinator friendly flowers, and more. Our plants are:

RHS Plant sale plants are sourced locally and generally include vegetables, herbs, flowers and succulents. In the flower category, we'll have a mix of annuals and perennials to brighten your yard, hanging pots, and planters.

Danvers Historical Society’s Plant Sale will take place for only two days! Saturday and Sunday, May 17th and 18th, from 9am to 1pm in the Glen Magna Farms Greenhouse lot 29 Ingersoll St Danvers MA.


North Andover Middle School- June 1, 2025

Rain or shine. Wonderful assortment of perennials hardy to this area. “Ask a Master Gardener” table available for helpful advice. Garden Club members and Youth Center volunteers on hand to assist. Shop early for best selection! Our black nursery pots from previous sales gladly accepted back and we will reuse them next year. Black nursery pots only please and clean appreciated.

The Danvers Garden Club will have a Large choice of Plants, Veggies, Herbs to sell to you.

This will be located in the Danvers Town Hall parking lot, which is right across the street from Danvers Town Hall.

A special hand selected group of Local, Creative, ladies will be there with their new Spring handcrafted items for sale under their tents. You'll find that special something you need to display in and around your home. A little unique craft fair in a quaint setting!
